Build with the
requirements in view.

Define the infrastructure around your application and its obligations. Make location, access, recovery and evidence part of the specification from the beginning.

Review your infrastructure requirements

From requirement to deployment

01

Turn requirements into a service brief.

Identify the data, processing locations, access controls and resilience requirements relevant to the workload. Distinguish your regulatory obligations from capabilities that need to be supplied by an infrastructure provider.

02

Ask for evidence at the right level.

A facility credential does not automatically certify an application or every service running there. Agree which evidence, contractual provisions and operational controls are available and relevant to the actual deployment.

03

Define how the service will be operated.

Set the responsibility for patching, access, monitoring, incident communication and recovery. Complete the relevant data-processing arrangements and exit plan before placing the workload into service.

The first conversation

Bring the brief.
We’ll work through it.

Infrastructure alone does not confer regulatory approval or certification. Suitability and any required evidence must be assessed for the specific service.

Review your infrastructure requirements
  1. The workload

Application role, data categories and operating entities.

  2. The controls

Required locations, access, resilience and supporting evidence.

  3. The governance

Decision owners, processing roles, incident and exit requirements.
